For those of you new to Voodoo Leatherworks or it’s been awhile since you’ve attended an orientation, here are some Basic Rules that guide the organization.
- While we offer a lot of classes, workshops and other information to the public about safety, communication, negotiation, etc., you MUST be a Member of Voodoo’s Private Social Club to attend any of our Members-Only events.
- You MUST be 18 years old or older to attend ANY event here at Voodoo Leatherworks.
- We take consent seriously and all activities between Members and/or their guests must be 100% consensual.
- If you’re attending Voodoo as the guest of a Member, your sponsoring Member is responsible for you. This means we will not let you in without your sponsoring Member, when the Member leaves, it’s expected that you leave with them. Also, the Member is responsible for you and your conduct.
- Do not crowd or interrupt “scenes” or Aftercare.
- Do not touch people or their things without explicit and enthusiastic permission to do so.
- Do not be loud and create distractions in the play areas.
- Always check in with the DM before setting up a scene.
- Do not consume illicit drugs at any of our events.
- Do not consume alcohol at any of our non-alcohol events.
- If you are under 21 and we catch you consuming alcohol at any Voodoo event, we will automatically and immediately suspend your Membership forever.
- We do not permit the exchange of currency, goods or services between Members during our Members-Only events.
