In this class we will be discussing connections in shibari.
While we will be going over ropes, basic knots, consent, and understanding risk profiles, the main focus of this class will be connection between the rope top and the rope bottom. Creating a memorable scene not through technique or making the prettiest tie, but through connecting with your scene partner through the rope, intention, and sensation.
Presenter Bio
I have 2 years of experience in shibari with a year and a half of that learning directly with shibari educator Devilnawa. Next to consent and safety, I most value building connections in scenes, negotiation, and aftercare. I am passionate about teaching others how to build their skills and develop meaningful connections through kink.
