We’re updating the way accounts are created and updated here on the website and those updates might cause some hiccups with the website. Here’s what we’re doing:
- Automated account creation when a member indicates that they want access to the website and provides us with a valid email address.
- Automatic account suspension when membership expires or membership status has been revoked through a suspension/revocation of membership.
- Automated updates to user roles on the website – so when you complete volunteer training or DM training, your roles on the website will update and allow you access to content specific to those roles.
- Users can provide email and indicate they want an account by updating their info at the Member Kiosk, located near the coffee station. New Members will have the option during orientation.
We don’t want to spam our members or annoy you with notifications while we implement these updates, but there is a possibility that you may receive some odd messages or experience some downtime while the site is being updated.
